Miss Caoimhe Clifford

Caoimhe studied in Belfast and Kansas, USA, earning two nursing degrees before returning home to begin her nursing career. After a year working in a local nursing home, she joined the Ulster Hospital in 2013 as a theatre nurse. In 2020, she took on the role of Deputy Manager in the Orthopaedic Theatre, where she manages the daily challenges of a busy and demanding surgical schedule.

A passionate traveller, Caoimhe has spent five of the past ten years exploring the world. Her experiences abroad — and the many conversations she had with fellow travellers — inspired her to become involved with Check My X-Ray. While travelling, she was often asked for advice on injuries other backpackers had sustained, making Check My X-Ray a natural fit that combines her professional expertise in fracture care with her love of travel and helping others.
